- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 pound green beans, fresh
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- Sauté onion and garlic in the vegetable oil.
- Add green beans and the remaining ingredients except the cheese. Heat until green beans are cooked.
- Add Parmesan cheese and serve.
