Honey Drop Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup shortening (oleo)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup honey
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup milk
Directions
- Sift together flour and baking powder. Sift again.
- Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add honey and salt.
- Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and milk.
- Mix well for 15 minutes then chill dough in refrigerator.
- Drop by teaspoonful, 2-3 inches apart on a well greased sheet.
- Bake in a hot oven (400F) 8-10 minutes.
