Marge's Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 1 9 inch pie shell
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in syrup. Add pecans, vanilla and salt.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake at 400 F for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 300 F and continue cooking for 40 to 50 minutes.
