Black Walnut Butter Balls

Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped black walnuts
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar. Mix well.
- Add flour and nuts. This makes a very stiff dough.
- Break off by teaspoon-full and roll into balls in the palms of the hands.
- Bake in a slow oven (300–325°F) to a delicate brown.
- Roll in powdered sugar.
