Honey Pecan Balls

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar, approximate
Directions
- Cream butter and honey in mixing bowl.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Add remaining ingredients except confectioner's sugar. Mix thoroughly.
- Refrigerate dough for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 300 - 325 degrees.
- Shape dough into small balls. Dough will be crumbly.
- Place balls about 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a slow oven 300-325 F for 20 minutes or until light tan.
- Roll in confectioner's sugar as desired while still warm, then again when cool.
